DR NAGESH ACTOR, PRODUCER WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

Acclaimed dentist from Bangalore, always giving ‘Nagu’ for his patients Dr Nagesh of ‘Nagu Dental’ clinic is also suppliers of ‘Smile’ to many of the Kannada cinema industry personalities.

Producer of ‘Avaran Bit Ivaran Bit Avaryaaru’ Dr Nagesh a popular actor has won the prestigious award of ‘Most promising Dentist in Bangalore’ – this award is given by Big Research Group and NDTV Profit.

The award for actor cum doctor Nagesh was given away at Lalith Ashok Hotel by Krishnamachari Srikanth, ace cricket player in a grand function.

Dexterous in his two professions Dr Nagesh KG is grandson of producer of two Dr Rajakumar films (Krishna Garudi and Nandi Mahatme), exhibitor (of Shivaji and Bharath), former Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President and former Mayor KM Naganna.

The first affiliation of Nagesh in cinema began with a running scene with Hindi cinema actor Dharmendra in front of Vidhana Soudha. That was Dharmendra remake ‘Mein Intiqam Loonga’ (1982) Hindi film from Kannada film of Dr Rajakumar’s ‘Thayige Thakka Maga’ (1982).

Dr Nagesh appeared in another film with Musuri Krishnamurthy in ‘Haalu Jenu’ of Dr Rajakumar. His intimacy to Kannada cinema developed with the production of a film ‘Avaran Bit Ivaran Bit Avaryaaru’. Dr Nagesh lost money in this film but he is impressed with the technically expertise of director Rajendra Kumar Arya. He failed in execution of his thoughts and has very good knowledge of cinema appreciates Dr Nagesh.

It was in 2000 Dr Nagesh became a producer but he turned actor in very decent roles in over 55 films. 14 of them with Upendra and the superstar is also the patient of Dr Nagesh like many others. Dr Nagesh acted in top stars films of Darshan, Puneeth Rajakumar. His patient list of celebrities is huge. Upendra, Hamsalekha, Gurukiran, Ravi Verma, Krupakar, Rajesh Krishnan, Nandita, Tennis Krishna, SV Rajendra Singh Babu, Dinesh Baboo, Shailendra Babu, editors, journalists, production managers.
